Description
A 9-pin M-F serial cable. There are two serial cables connecting the device and the workstation. One is used for communication with the device control software (for example, Print Console) and the other is for communication with the diagnostic program (for example, Service Shell).
History
16-3460A: Made inactive with ECO C971 because it had very poor shielding capabilities and provided little electromagnetic interference (EMI) reduction. 16-3460B has a foil and braid combination and a shielded connector backshell, which control the EMI. Because the new cable is better shielded, the braided ground cable (10-1051A) is no longer needed.
