 TEC backbone
Problem The current TEC backbone uses reed switches that are unreliable.
Solution(s) Replace the reed switches with microswitches (#15-3478).
Parts needed Field Upgrade Kit:
  • 05-2024 kit for TS3, TS8, TS2637
  • 05-2023 kit for TS4

NOTE: Effective 1 March, 2002 a new longer cable #10-4947B is shipping with these kits, either in addition to the kit or as a part of it. Be sure to install the longer cable when doing the upgrade.
