Trendsetter 400/800 E-model (MPE) base, AL, Spectrum

Symptoms

GC adjustments cannot be made by changing GC parameters in firmware.

Causes

In the original implementation of E-model devices, the gc engc parameter is automatically set to 0 and cannot be changed. All adjustments to GC parameters are ignored in firmware.

Solution

• Upgrade to the latest Controlled Release:
  • Trendsetter base: CR 1.2 or later
  • Trendsetter AL: CR 2.2 or later
  • Trendsetter Spectrum: CR 3.0 or later
• Set the parameter gc engc to 1.
