Component

Cooling pump in fan box

Symptoms

The motor that runs the cooling pump starts and stops.
The thermal head can overheat because the cooling pump is not running or is running intermittently.

Cause

The fan box DIN rail connectors may not have good electrical contact. A jumper may not be pressed far enough into the DIN rails to make a good contact between adjacent connectors.

Solution

Inspect the jumpers on the DIN rail in the fan box.
Click the photo below for the jumper location (connection box with the cover off).

If the jumpers are seated correctly, they will be flush with the DIN rails.
Click the photo below to see both correctly seated and unseated jumpers.

If the jumpers are not flush to the DIN connectors, turn off the power to the Trendsetter, and then firmly push the jumpers until they are flush.
