Plate slips out of TEC

Applies to

  • Trendsetter 3244
  • Platesetter 3244
  • Trendsetter 3230 (TS4 Version)

Description

Plates slips out of TEC

Solutions

  • Make sure that the clamps are not deformed.
  • Check for particle buildup under the clamps.
  • Make sure that the plate is properly clamped in the LECs.
  • Check the plate size.
  • Check the TEC overlap value (set al coff). Adjust if necessary.
  • Decrease the overlap value until the proper plate margins are achieved. The plate should be 2 mm past the inside edge of the TEC clamps, as visible through the keyholes in the clamps bodies.

Notes

On Trendsetter_3244 only, adjusting this parameter affects the calibration of the plate measuring sensor on the load ramp. This is because coff affects the trailing edge position (te_pos) which is used in the loading code to determine the length of the plate. If you change coff, make sure that you don't get "plate too big" or "plate too small" errors and that you can correctly detect plates that are the wrong size. If not, adjust soff.
