Device |
MCE Trendsetter 400/800 |
||
Machines affected |
Potentially all MCE devices using TH1.x Heads. |
||
Symptoms |
The artifact is a thin, subpixel unimaged strip between swaths - generally fairly short (3-4mm), and can occur in different mainscan direction positions throughout the swath. This artifact will most likely occur on positive plates @ 1200 dpi, but can also occur on negative plates. The artifact can only be seen under a loop and may not show up on press. |
||
Cause |
Mainscan duplicate and subscan duplicate numbers set to 2. |
||
Solution |
This fix will be included in the TS4/8 Controlled Release 3.0 (formerly called the Spectrum CR 2.1 or 2.1 patch). A patch for News devices is available from Jack Miro (a full release won't be done with the fix until Nov/Dec 2003). |
