Plate Flyoff Sensor
Description | NVS Parameters | Parts | Procedures
- Detects any object falling across the path of an
infrared beam.
- The transmitter is on the drive end clamp
cylinder assembly.
- The sensor is mounted through the engine frame on
the encoder end.
To disable the sensor: set
drum chkfly 0
Transmitter (36-3117)
- Emits an infrared beam (950 nm)
Receiver (36-3118)
- Detects the beam from the transmitter. It has two
indicators:
- Green: DC power is on.
- Yellow: The beam from the transmitter is
falling on the receiver. When the beam is
interrupted (plate flyoff error), the
yellow light is off.
- The sensor signal is transmitted to the LU board.
