Trendsetter Upgrades (4-page and 8-page)

4-page or 8-page Trendsetters can be upgraded to increase performance and functionality. Upgrade options depend on the generation and serial number of the Trendsetter. Kit contents will vary depending on the serial number - see details in the Speed Upgrade BOMs spreadsheet.

Trendsetter 3230/3244 (TS3)

Note: End of sales for this upgrade is 01 Oct 2007.
Available for Creo serial numbers S162 and up and Heidelberg serial numbers S993631000 and up.

TS3244 S to F 02-4314B-01 Includes P22 thermal head (192 pixel,  40 W) (20 to 40 W conversion kit) + Chiller + UDRC-BP.

Requires upgrading of  the system from air-cooled to water-cooled

For devices with serial numbers <S230, some drilling is required for the new fittings bulkhead.
See procedure for more details.

 Speed Upgrade Procedure - TS3 devices 725-00020A
TS3244 S to V1.0 02-4314B-02 Includes P22 thermal head (224 pixel, 40 W) + Chiller + UDRC-BP.

Requires upgrading of the system from air-cooled to water-cooled.

For devices with serial numbers <S230, some drilling is required to use the new fittings bulkhead.

S-speed uses a 20W air-cooled head. Upgrade kit includes a fan box upgrade and 48 V PS kits.

Heat exchanger is preinstalled in the device so is not part of the upgrade kit.

Trendsetter 400/800 (TS8)

Available for Creo serial numbers TE001 and up and Heidelberg serial numbers Sxx3861000 and up.

Note: Heidelberg S model devices were configured with a 20W head, where as all Creo manufactured TS8 came with 40W head. These S models would thus require the fan box and 48 V PS upgrade; both are included in the kit.
