Procedure
  1. Enter PICKER UP and then PICKER IN.
  2. Open the bay door by defeating the latch with a credit card or a ruler.
  3. Fasten the M4x10 flat cap head screw and nylock nut to the upper holes on both ends of the cup bar. The screw head should be facing you.

  4. Attach the wedged foam blocks to the cup side of the bar so that they are just inside of the nylock nuts from step 3. The wedge should be pointing up.

  5. Remove the protective film from both sides of the membrane. Snap one end of the cup membrane over the screw head on the right hand side. Be sure to have the membrane in the correct orientation so that the end holes are closest to the upper edge of the film.
  6. When snapping the other end on, first compress the foam and membrane with your left hand to relieve the tension in the film.

Once you let go, the foam blocks will maintain the correct tension on the membrane. The membrane should not be sagging or flopping around. If it is, check the location of the foam blocks. Move them closer to the ends if required.

  7. Push the membrane up or down on the foam so that there is around 4 or 5 mm between the edge of the film and the edge of the cups.

  8. If you installed this kit on a 3244, mark off box #20 on the 100 label. If it is a 3230, mark off box #3 on the 100 label.
Action Required Find the 100 label number on the left side of the machine on the unload table frame. You may need to remove the side cover  (the table must be down to remove cover). Move the >>TABLE UP and find the sticker.
Mark as change #20 on the ECO/100 label if you are upgrading a TS 3244 base.
Mark as change #3 on ECO/100 label if you are upgrading a TS 3230 base.
