Component

Picker Version 3
Problem Picker guide wire and/or pulleys wear excessively
Solution(s) Replace the V3 picker guiding cable screw with a new shoulder bolt
Parts needed Kit # 05-0196
Procedure
  1. Remove the upper picker rail screw. Move the rail away from the picker just enough to get the rollers out of the rail/track.
  2. Move the rail back into its original position but rest the picker rollers on the front/top of the rail.

  3. Remove the old guide cable screw (non-adjustable) and washers.

  4. Put the guide cable eyelet onto the new shoulder bolt, then the m6 washer, then the m5 washer. (The m5 washer will not fit over the shoulder.)
  5. When tightening the shoulder bolt down, be careful NOT TO PINCH the other cable between the shoulder and the m5 washer. Let it rest against the shoulder between the m6 and m5 washers.
