Component

Unload table
Problem

The unload table clevis pins are rotating when the unload table is actuated causing the rod-ends to wear out of round, potentially causing the unload table to go out of adjustment and experience excessive slop.

The following error will be reported "Unload Table timed out moving up".

Solution(s) Inspect machines in the field and wherever wear or lack of grease is present, replace the pins and rod end and grease the pin to prevent future damage to the frame component of the unload tables (not replaceable in the field).
Parts needed Maintenance kit 50-2341A includes the following:
  • 52-4488 Cotter pin, auto locking, 1/2" shaft (2)
  • 52-4064 M12 washer (4)
  • 52-4897 Clevis pin, 7/16"*2.5" (2)
  • 55-0605 Rod end, clevis, 5/8" - 18, 0.43 Pin (2)
Tools needed High pressure, lithium-based grease or wheel bearing grease
Procedure
  1. Remove locking cotter pin and slide the pivot pin out, catching the two M12 washers as they fall from between the clevis and unload frame.
  2. Loosen the clevis locking nut and remove clevis from unload table cylinder.
  3. Replace with new clevis bottoming out against the locking nut (once fully reassembled this will be the adjustment point for alignment of the unload table up sensor/table up angle).
  4. Reassemble in reverse of disassembly adding grease to the new pivot pin, clevis and unload frame.
  5. Adjust rod end/clevis as necessary to achieve alignment of unload table up sensor.

NOTE: Contact Chris Morley if alignment problems occur with the unload table and/or shims are found underneath the reed switch or reed magnet for the up position sensor. These machines may need re-alignment of the unload table pivot brackets (production procedure to be done in the field only with guidance from Chris Morley).
