The Autopunch display reports "One of the sensors is not working, Inline"

Description  Inline refers to the 3 plate optical sensors used during and after punching. Two lead edge sensors and the side stop sensor are all connected in series. The punch checks the status of these optical sensors at various stages during the punch cycle, and especially before it raises or lowers the inlay table. So the error may show at any time.
Causes and solutions  Possible Causes:
  1. Dirty optics on sensor
  2. Electrical connection flakey at one of the sensors
  3. Broken ground wire to side stop
  4. Failed sensor

Solutions:

  1. Clean sensor optics with Alchol and Qtips.
  2. Check wiring at each sensor for bad crimps and or broken wires, repair where necessary.
  3. Re-attach broken ground wire.
  4. Replace sensor.
