NOTE: You must install the version of Service Shell in this controlled release before downloading firmware in this controlled release. See Installation instructions for details.

CD: 21-0140E (link points to CD files on Production's master server). Order the CD from CD.Requests@Creo.com.

Insert the relative file path to the appropriate files on the Production CD.

DEC Alpha not supported for Print Console & Service Shell

Older Dell and DEC servers may not have adequate performance

Tested with Dell Optiplex GX260, Dell 2600 Prinergy Primary

Brisque 4.0 is not compatible with Print Console 2.3

Installation instructions and time per task

Install in the order given. Total time - 4.25 hours (minimum).

Check patches folder and apply as documented in the patch readme files.	0.25 hour
Install Service Shell - needed for checking head/mpe f/w versions and for downloading the new f/w. After installing the Service Shell client, start the version checker applet. If the system is pre-configured, version checking begins automatically. Click Config. A dialog box prompts you for the controlled release config file. Browse to the VersionConfig folder on the controlled release CD, select the version config file, and click Evaluate > Yes. If a dialog box indicates that the device is not yet configured with controlled release version information, select Configure System > Next. Browse to the VersionConfig folder on the controlled release CD, select the version config file, and click Finish.
