Symptoms

The plate is picked by the picker, but the plate drops slightly and does not go all the way down into the LEC.
This sometimes occurs with smaller plates. Larger plates that are heavier load correctly.

Cause

The picker mechanism may be rubbing against a panel.

Solution

1. Verify that the picker is rubbing against a panel by lightly assisting the plate load (put pressure down on the plate).
2. Remove the picker access panel and check for mechanical friction.
3. Align the picker if necessary.
