Description

• Disables the laser and stops drum movement when a panel is opened or the emergency stop switch is pressed.
• During an unsafe condition (panel open or emergency stop switch depressed), power is cut from the drum and carriage motors and the drum brake is engaged. Pneumatic actuators return to their default state.
  An abort remains posted until the button is released or the door panel is closed.

The front, rear and left side panels are equipped with safety interlock switches to prevent operator injury. Opening any of these creates a break in the circuit, preventing the machine from operating. A misadjusted or faulty sensor creates the same condition.

Emergency stop switch

If pressed, it causes a break in the interlock loop. To release the emergency stop switch, turn it clockwise. The emergency stop switch is located on the front of the Trendsetter UHR.

Related Commands

The abort command forces an orderly shutdown of all device software tasks. The abort will clear when the shutdown sequence for all tasks is complete.
