Component |
Chiller |
||
Symptoms |
The chiller shuts down when the debris unit starts. The chiller displays 8888 on the front panel. |
||
Cause |
A cable inside the Trendsetter, 10-3852A, has a resistor on the +24V line to the chiller and UDRC interface signals. When the UDRC and chiller are both running, the +24v drops to about 3-5v because of the resistor. This is marginal for the chiller interface and it will shut down. When the UDRC stops, the chiller starts up again. |
||
Solution |
Replace the 10-3852A cable with 10-3852B. The B version has the resistor omitted. |
