1. Remove the protective cover from the guards.
2. Lay each guard on top of the guard rail support arms so that the contours match. Hold a bracket on the underside of a support arm and insert the screws with plastic washers from the top (there are two brackets per guard).
   

The gate safety bar mounts to the back of the guard rail gate with the bend pointing downwards. To install the gate safety bar:

1. Remove two screws on each end of the gate to mount the gate safety bar brackets. Viewed from the front, the right side bracket mounts horizontally and the left side bracket mounts vertically (the picture below is viewed from behind).
2. Attach the gate safety bar and tighten the screws.
   

The plastic table finger guard is installed on the side of the table on the conveyor side only. If it is not already installed:

1. Position the finger guard on the side of the table so that the front edge is level with the front edge of the table with the horizontal side at the top.
2. Place plastic washers over the existing table hex-screws and use a nut driver to push the push-nuts onto the hex-screws.
   The finger guard top surface should be slightly lower than the table surface. Even with all the push-nuts in place, the finger guard can be moved around to attain the desired position.
   

Install the Straight conveyor filler strip (57-8635A) onto the S-conveyor between the connection plate and the conveyor deck.

Install the latch extension (57-8894A) onto the Trendsetter side panel (cassette side only).
This extension bracket will reduce the pinch hazard to the cables that are going up the track support arm to the picker.
