Component

 MCU Safety Board and cable
Problem Cable 10-4703A-A was built incorrectly. At the MCU Safety Interface Board connector -J3, pins #5 & #6 are reversed as shown below.

Solution(s) Install adapter 10-5064A and replace Safety Interface board 10-4697B.
Parts needed Kit 05-2033 (cable and board)
Tools needed n/a
Procedure
  • Check the wiring of pins 5&6 on cable 10-4703A at the J3 connector on the MCU Safety Interface Board.
  • If pins 5&6 are reversed, install the cable adapter 10-5064A and replace the MCU Safety Interface Board 10-4697B.
  • Return the old board to Vancouver to be repaired.
