Solution

Temporary fix:

• Gently tap down the drum strap and tighten the two screws. The strap must be below the drum surface.

If you have to replace the drum strap:

• Remove the lec clamps from the drum - one by one until you reach the defective drum strap.

• Unscrew the two drum strap screws and remove the defective drum strap.

• Install a new drum strap (57-3808C) using new M4x12 screws (52-4643). The strap must be below the drum surface.

• Re-install the lec clamps (apply 242 loctite on the screws).
