| Component | Conveyor (straight or L-type) |
|---|
| Problem | The conveyor doesn't shut down once the plate has exited onto the oven conveyor. |
|---|
| Causes and Solutions | Cause 1: Plate exit sensor failed. Solution a): Opto-reflector sensor may have failed in the on position. Check the sensor for damage or wear. Solution b): Check that the firmware has detected the sensor signal correctly. Solution c): Check that the plate is still on the conveyor. The operator may have manually moved it from the conveyor to the oven. Solution d): Check for dirt on the sensor. Clean it with a mild solution of soap and water. Solution e): Check that the firmware can read the sensor. If it can't, the operator may have adjusted the height of the sensor. Re-adjust the height until the firmware reads it. Cause 2: Connection has failed. Cause 3: Genine board has failed. |
