Conveyor does not start up

Applies to
  • VLF Trendsetter AL

Machines affected All machines.

Error Number None

Component Conveyor (straight or L-type)

Problem The conveyor doesn't start up before the plate reaches the end of the unload table.

Causes and Solutions Cause 1:  Power cable has been disconnected.
Solution:
Check that the power cable running through the treadplate between the conveyor and base machine is still connected. It may have become dislodged if the conveyor was moved out of position.

Cause 2:  Conveyor connection is not properly in place.
Solution:
The connecting plate between the conveyor and the base machine must be positioned so that it contacts the two switches beneath it. If it is out of alignment, the safety loop will be interrupted.

Cause 3:  Genine board has failed.
Solution:
Genine 4 driver may have failed.  See VLF Trendsetter AL Genine boards.
