Slipsheet picker (Wedgemaster)

Error

• 22205: ALE2: Plate not detected on picker plate-vacuum
• 22235: ALE2: Slipsheet not detected on picker slipsheet vacuum
• 22236: ALE2: Failed to deactivate picker slipsheet vacuum
• 22245: ALE2: Slipsheet picker vacuum above threshold beore picking slipsheet

Cause

Just before the slipsheet picker (Wedgemaster) attempts to pick a slipsheet, the vacuum is turned on with both cups open and away from the slipsheet. For example, if picking a slipsheet from the top of the lower plate, the icup and ocup will be turned upwards. The vacuum will then be turned on and the system will check that the open cup vacuum reading is not already above the threshold set in val ssvth. An error message displays if the slipsheet picker vacuum threshold is set incorrectly.

Solution

If MPE Firmware 1.20 or later is installed, use the firmware command cal picker to check media X sst (slip sheet threshold), val pvth (plate vacuum threshold), or val ssvth (slip sheet picker/Wedgemaster vacuum threshold). Otherwise, use the manual procedures below:
