- Check that all the shipped crates have been received.
- Check any shock-watches on the outside of crates. They should be white, not red.
- Look for signs of damage from moisture, improper packing, tipping, dropping, stacking, etc. of crates, or any sign of mishandling.
- Open the crate to allow access to the front and rear of the machine.
- Remove all packages from the crate:
- adjustable foot wrench
- fasteners
- guard rail assemblies (2) including base plates and struts
- lifting bars
- Remove the temporary table supports.
- Remove the front center panel and both rear panels.
- Raise the hose cage to gain access to the forklift rails.
WARNING! Moving the Trendsetter VLF by forklift when its front and rear panels are still on will damage the machine.
- Have the forklift operator remove the Trendsetter VLF from the crate. Lift it carefully as one side is heavier than the other. The machine can either be placed on the floor for rolling on its castors, or be moved by forklift directly to its permanent location.
