Scheme 0 (original design, before guard-rail abort switches)
One contact block on base VLF-TS abort switch
Cable goes from RDC board J4 to base VLF-TS abort switch only
No extra cables for guard-rail abort switches in VLF-TS fan box or power
box
Scheme 1 (first design with guard-rail abort switches)
One contact block on base VLF-TS abort switch
Cable goes from RDC board J4 to base VLF-TS abort switch, plus
guard-rail and MCU abort switches
Cable goes from J42 on MCU PDB to the MCU abort switch AND to VLF-TS
bulkhead
Pressing guard-rail abort switch shuts down AL automation only, and does
not give "Abort switch pressed" message
Scheme 2 (guard-rail abort switches wired into safety loops)
One contact block on base VLF-TS abort switch
Cable goes from RDC board J4 to base VLF-TS abort switch only
Cable 10-4468 (in the power box) is modified. One end goes to the
right-side guard-rail bulkhead. The other end splits into 4 or 6
connectors inside the power box. The two larger connectors go to Genine0
(mounted on the card cage). Two other 2-pin connectors connect to cables
10-4449 and 10-4348. Here's the modification: there will also be another
cable, from the right-side abort switch, attached to 10-4468, either via
two additional connectors (thus 6 in total) added to 10-4468, or spliced
into the two 2-pin connectors.
Cable goes from J42 on MCU PDB to the MCU abort switch ONLY.
Pressing guard-rail abort switch shuts down AL automation only, and
gives "24V power supply" error message
Scheme 4 (only at Mohn)
2 contact blocks on base VLF-TS abort switch
Pressing guard-rail abort switch shuts down AL AND VLF-TS automation
Scheme 5 (coming soon)
Uses new Relay Delay Control board 10-4827A
