Symptoms

The media size values stored in the CS Xpose PPD for the Prinergy workflow are switched. This causes problems when using the PPD in Creo Preps™.

For example:
Agfa® media—Width: 725 mm (1743.307087 points), Height: 615 mm (2052.283465 points)

PPD:

PageSize Agfa: "<< /PageSize [2052.283465 1743.307087]
...
dup [2052.283465 1743.307087] (Agfa) put
...

The width size is the height, and the height is the width.

Solution

1. From /xpose/version/temp, open the Xpose.ppd in a text editor (for example, word pad).
2. From the Edit menu, select Replace.
3. In the Find and Replace dialog box, replace the media width listed in the PPD (for example, 2052.283465) with the media height listed (for example, 1743.307087), and then the height listed with the correct width value.

   For example:
   In the PPD:

   PageSize Agfa: "<< /PageSize [1743.307087 2052.283465]
...
dup [1743.307087 2052.283465] (Agfa) put
...
*PageRegion Agfa: " << /PageSize [1743.307087 2052.283465] >> setpagedevice"
