Symptoms

If you do not have a Magnus 400 or a Lotem 400 Xpose device or a TSP cable, you can open the Xpo software in simulation mode.

Solution

To run Xpo in simulation mode:

1. Install the Xpo software, and restart the workstation.
2. Browse to the \Xpose\version\registry folder.
3. Double-click Magnus400FHSimulator.reg.
4. Click Yes to begin configuring Xpo.
5. When prompted, click OK.
6. Browse to the \Xpose\version\bin folder.
7. Double-click Xpo_simulation_mode.bat to run the bat file.

The Xpo application automatically opens enabling you to send test jobs without connecting to a device.

Note: This simulation mode is only for the Xpo software and not for the Magnus 400/Lotem 400 Xpose controller.
