Hfdaemon.exe entry point not found. The procedure entry point_resetstkoflw could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll

Symptoms

ThermoFlex TIFF FE 3.1.51 software does not support the Windows Server 2003 operating system.

Solution

After you install ThermoFlex TIFF FE 3.1.51, you must install update Xpo3.1.51.Supp2003.zip.

Important: You must install this update if you are using the Windows Server 2003 operating system even if the error message stated above is not displayed after you have installed the ThermoFlex TIFF FE 3.1.51 software.

To install the update:

1. On the ThermoFlex TIFF FE workstation, quit all software programs and restart the workstation.
2. Download Xpo3.1.51.Supp2003.zip.
3. Extract the compressed file using the password kodak.
4. Double-click the Xpo3.1.51.Supp2003.exe file.
5. Follow the wizard instructions. The workstation will automatically restart when the installation is complete.
6. Start the ThermoFlex TIFF FE software.
