checkbox.gif (459 bytes) Tested     uncheckbox.gif (229 bytes) Not Tested

Applies to

  • Creating an Input Queue in Print Console 1.x

Problem

If you create an Input Queue (select the Configuration menu, Input Queues option, then press the Add button) with a name that includes the backslash character ( \ ) the new input channel will appear in the list of input channels displayed in the Configure Input Queues dialog box. However, when you press the dialog box’s Apply button, the queue—and all of the configuration you just associated with it—is deleted.

Workaround

Do not use the backslash character in any Input Queue name.

Note: At this time there are no other characters that are known to problematic with Input Queue names.

Permanent Fix

This problem will be corrected in the next release of Print Console.
