Jobs Initialized With “Use Device Media” Print Setups Fail

Problem

 “Use Device Media” option in the Print Setups does not allow you to automatically select the media that is just big enough to fit the image. Instead, it expects an exact match.

Background

 If you configure your job properties (or print setup) with the “Use Device Media” option, Print Console looks for a media size that matches the raster image size within .5mm. If Print Console cannot find a media size that does not match the image size within .5mm, the job fails.

Workaround

 On the Preferences pane, in the Matching tab, set the matching tolerances.
