Can't Disable a Color, Dieline, or Varnish in a Job Submitted by Rampage |
|---|
Applies to |
Print Console 1.x and a Rampage 7.4 Workflow |
Problem |
Unable to disable a separation in Print Console when a job was sent through a Rampage workflow. |
Background |
If you submit a proofing job to Print Console from a Rampage system, you might want to disable one of the separations. For example, if you have C, M, Y, K, Dieline, Pantone 3237, and Intel Blue, but you don't want the Dieline to image. When you disable the Dieline in Print Console, Rampage write the files C, M, Y, K, appears to skip the Dieline, but then adds it again and images it with the piece of donor for Pantone 3237. |
Workaround |
Currently there is no workaround except aborting the job before it images the file you do not want imaged. |
Permanent Fix |
This is a known limitation in Rampage 7.4 and cannot be worked around in Print Console. Rampage 7.4 (build 54) adds spot color support. |
