Product |
Any system connecting directly to Print Console 2.0 via GDAPI and using the Copydot Toolkit (CTK).
Operating system |
Windows NT |
Symptoms |
Can't start Print Console (splash screen appears but application does not start).
Cause |
When launched from within Print Console (in the Queue, right-click on a job and select CTK), CTK shares certain system resources with Print Console. When you shut down Print Console, CTK remains open and monopolizes these resources. When you restart Print Console, it cannot reconnect to these resources and, therefore, cannot launch properly. |

Solution |
Shut down CopyDot Toolkit before starting
Print Console.
Fixed in Print Console 2.1. |
