Error |
Although there is no explicit error message, the Print Console
History pane shows the following messages:
|
||
|
|
|||
Symptoms |
When you send a file to the device from Prinergy (via a GDAPI
direct connection), the device picks and loads the plate, spins the
drum, and turns the laser on. After about 5 seconds, Print Console
displays the imaging complete status, yet nothing is imaged on the
plate.

Cause |
When the SCSI connection is lost (whether from shutting down the
device or disconnecting the SCSI cable), Print Console does not
display any error message or fail the job, nor does it inform
Prinergy of the lost connection. In addition, Print Console does not
recognize that the connection has been restored until you re-boot
the workstation, which means that even if you restore the SCSI
connection or re-start the device, the problem will persist.

Solution |
When available, upgrade to Print Console 2.1. |
