Print Console 2.0, 2.1 |
||
Platform |
Intel |
||
Operating system |
Windows 2000, Windows NT SP4 |

Symptoms |
During the installation of Print Console 2.0, the Spool folder is installed to the same drive as the Print Console folder, despite choosing an another drive. That is, if you choose to install the Spool folder to the E: drive and the Print Console folder to D: drive, the install program installs both to the D: drive. This problem may proceed unnoticed until you attempt to set up a hot folder. The hot folder path will default to the wrong directory. In addition, if you upgraded to version 2.1 from version 2.0, the upgrade mechanism simply copies the current registry structure. This means that if the Spool folder was on the wrong directory before the upgrade, it will be on the wrong directory after the upgrade. |
