Symptoms |
When a Brisque Screen2Go tiff that is larger than the plate is submitted to Print Console and the rotation is set to 0 and mirror set to none, the file fails in RIP with a clip buffer allocation error. | ||

Cause |
TDL not being able to handle this file's somewhat bizarre tile size:
"Tiled file: tile width 48672 tile length 32".
Tiles are usually close to square, and from 256x256 to 8192x8192. When rotating by 0 or 180, the TDL uses the tile width to size its input buffers. In this case the really wide tile led to a huge buffer, which the operating system choked on. There are potentially two problems here:

Solution |
A Brisque update is available that corrects
the tiling problem. Contact your service representative to obtain this
update - Bit_map Update 26.
This update can be downloaded via Techplanet at http://techplanet.creo.com/software_solutions/workflow_software/brisque/content/docs/Ver4.0.97Updates.htm |
