Symptoms |
No error, just confusion with the function
of the Hydra Rip and TIFF Downloader in the Print
Setup. In Print Console 3.2 when working with the News 150, the
install program will setup both Hydra RIP and TIFF Downloader. The RIP
used depends on the number of Stacks selected in the Print Setup.
If you set the Print Setup for two stacks, the Hydra RIP is automatically selected and it expects two files which it groups automatically. If you send only one file, it will timeout and image only one plate and then eject both. If you configure another Print Setup with Manual Bypass, this will prompt you to select one or two stacks. You can remake single Broadsheet plates by creating a setup with one stack. Choosing one stack automatically selects the TIFF Downloader Rip. |
