Print Console
Symptoms |
For a given plate size, the plot always ends prematurely very near the end of the plot. |
Cause |
Print Console signals the end of a plot with a 512-byte size of data (on the assumption that an image will never be that small). In rare circumstances, however, it is possible that when the SCSI driver breaks the image data into packets, there will be a remainder of 512 bytes, which will produce a false end-of-plot signal. | ||
Solution |
The temporary solution is to increase the width of the plate by 0.004 inches in Print Console. This causes TIFF Downloader to pad the image data for the larger plate size and change the number of bytes sent to the output device. A long-term solution is under development. |
