Error

27007 (MPE) / 43007 (MCE / Lotem Control Software): Cabinet has lost power

Symptoms

Symptom #1: The green light on top of the cabinet comes on and then goes off without the blower coming on.
Symptom #2: The green light on top of the cabinet never comes on and the blower does not turn on.

Causes/Solutions

The green light indicates power (coming from the device cable) to the UDRC relay.

Cause of Symptom #1:  If the green light on top of the cabinet has turned on and then off again, the power supply to the cabinet may have failed.
Solution:

  1. Make sure the power cable is plugged in at the cabinet and the wall. Check that there is power at the wall receptacle.

  2. WARNING:  The UDRC runs off 200-240 VAC. Please use appropriate precautions when tracing main power problems.
  3. The main power connection to the motor (molex connector inside the UDRC motor enclosure) may have come loose. Turn the UDRC upside down and remove the bottom cover to gain access to the motor enclosure.

Cause of Symptom #2:  If the green light on top of the cabinet never comes on, the bulb may be burnt out, the connections may be loose, the UDRC relay may be broken, or the cabinet may have overheated.
Solution:

  1. Check that the green light is not burnt out. If necessary, replace the bulb.
  2. Reseat the cable connection between the device and the UDRC.
  3. Trace the cables from the green light and check the connections.
  4. Check for voltage on the line when the light should be on.
  5. Replace the relay if defective. (Some UDRC disassembly is required to access the relay in the UDRC power box.)
  6. Check that the maximum operating conditions for the cabinet are 32°C (90°F) and 240 volts. If these are met, check the cooling air inlet for obstructions. The inlet is located at the bottom front of the cabinet.
Note:  After the motor has cooled down, the UDRC will operate. However, if the cause was not identified there is a risk of repeat occurrence of this problem.
