UDRC (L configuration), Setra pressure sensor - PACC Monitor

Error

27013/43013:  There is a problem with one or more of the pressure sensors in the debris removal cabinet

Symptoms

There is no flow at the nozzle, but there is flow at the UDRC.

Cause

The vacuum sensor tubes are connected incorrectly or not connected, or the sensors are not properly connected electrically, or the NVS parameters max_flow_change_rate_setra or flow_zero are set incorrectly.

Solution

Cause 1:  The vacuum sensor tubes are connected incorrectly or not connected.
Solution:  Check the vacuum sensor tubes in the UDRC-L electrical enclosure.

  1. At the bottom of the L-configuration electrical enclosure, the 2 sensor tubes should be FIRMLY connected to the appropriate quick connect port. These connections have been known to appear connected, but require additional force to fully make a proper connection.
  2. If the problem still persists, remove the L-configuration electrical enclosure from the back of the cabinet and check that:
    • The 0-100" sensor has one 6mm line going to the "LOW" port.
    • The 0-10" sensor has two lines connected to it. The first line comes from its "HIGH" port which taps into the same line for the 0-100" sensor. The second line starts at the sensor "LOW" part as 6mm, then reduces to 5/32"(4mm) and connects to the 4mm quick connect port on the back of the cabinet.
Cause 2:  The sensors are not properly connected electrically.
Solution:  Unplug and reseat the electrical connections in the backpack on the LIONEL circuit board labeled AN1, AN2, and AN3. Ensure that AN1 goes to the 0-10" Setra pressure sensor and that AN2 goes to the 0-100" Setra pressure sensor.

Cause 3:  The NVS parameters max_flow_change_rate_setra or flow_zero are set incorrectly.
Solution:  Using the nvs command set debris or by checking the Lotem UDRC Registry:
  1. Check that max_flow_change_rate_setra is 3 (only as an nvs parameter, not in the UDRC registry).
  2. Check that flow_zero is set to the value documented in the Debris Removal Firmware Guide - Parameter Values, Descriptions and Flowchart.
Reset the output device to continue.
