Error

27019/43019:  The chemical filter has almost expired. Please ensure a replacement filter is on hand.

Symptoms

Cause

The chemical filter is almost full.

Solution

This is not an error. It is a message to the user to make sure that there is a replacement chemical filter on hand. See the label on the back of the cabinet, the user guide, or the filter itself for filter part number. This message is received when the chemical filter is 90% full. The filter will only need to be replaced when error #27020/43020 (chemical filter full) is displayed. It may take a few days for the chemical filter to be full, depending on the type of media, how many plates are run per day, etc.

Note:  Once the filter is full, you can no longer image plates until it is replaced.
