Cause |
|
The parameters swidthn or soffsetn have values that cause a stroke calibration for channels that are blocked by the beam blockers.
The affected parameters are:
| Narrow mode |
Wide mode |
soffsetn |
soffset |
swidthn |
swidth |
Note: All narrow-mode parameters should have the same values as the corresponding wide-mode parameters. This applies to:
| Narrow mode |
Wide mode |
bmcurven |
bmcurve |
dsn |
ds |
dsn |
ds |
wpowern |
wpower |
|
|
Solution |
|
- Verify that the narrow-mode parameters used for imaging Staccato are set to the same value as the wide-mode parameters. Change any parameters as necessary. Use the commands:
- MPE thermal module 4.27 or earlier:
set head soffset set head soffsetn set head swidth set head swidthn
- MPE thermal module 4.28 or later:
set hdm x ssoffset set hdm x soffsetn set hdm x swidth set hdm x swidthn
Note: To determine the version of the thermal module, type list version and note the current “Thermal software version”.
- Force narrow mode off in Print Console. To do this, click Configuration and select Print set-up. Under Image mode, clear the Override narrow mode check box.
Note: Always tune the customer's system to the highest level of Staccato that it is qualified for.
