Machines affected |
All output with 1.7x Heads and Chillers |
||
Component |
Chiller |
||
Symptoms |
Noisy operation and eventual pump failure. Air pockets can find their way into the system and cause the pump to cavitate. |
||
Cause |
Low coolant level. Coolant level not checked and topped up. |
||
Solution |
When installing a new 1.7 head, or during a head swap, it is important to top up the coolant level in the chiller because the new head will consume a relatively large amount of coolant from the chiller reservoir. |
