Service Information The monitor command bbs mode (initialize|query|abort) and the monitor command bbs balance [nocal] perform an identical beam-balance. However the monitor command bbs mode (initialize|query|abort) performs a non-blocking beam-balance while the monitor command bbs balance [nocal] performs a blocking beam-balance. The non-blocking beam-balance is intended to allow the host to perform a beam-balance while executing other functionality ( i.e. initializing the focus ).

This error indicates that the non-blocking beam-balance was aborted.

Operator Action None.

Possible cause

  

There are several reasons for this error. Something may be wrong in any of the involved subsystems (LDD, BPD, and BBS).

Suggested action

  
  1. Enable verbose for LDD, BPD, and BBS.
  2. Do a stroke cal.
  3. Observe if any other errors appear with verbose enabled.
  4. Continue troubleshooting according to the new error message(s).
