Troubleshooting a Thermal 2 head

All problems should fit into one of the following three categories:

Once you have categorized the problem, use the category to locate troubleshooting information on the Techplanet TH2 troubleshooting page.

Artifact: an imaging artifact that is appearing on plate. For example: vertical lines. All artifacts that have been submitted are available via the artifact gallery. Additional artifact troubleshooting technotes are also available. See the Artifact Gallery.
Error Code: a thermal 2 error is occurring. For example: 02317 The laser beam was not detected. All error codes have now been moved to one central location. Find error code troubleshooting here.
