Error

[02340]: Laser power cannot be maintained due to sensor saturation

Symptoms

The error appears all the time. Image artifacts may occur.

Cause

The M8 sensor is saturated.

Solution

1. Ensure that the power is set correctly and is not over the maximum supported laser power.
2. Run M8Measure.spt and verify that the M8 sensor is saturated. See the sample results below.
3. If the error persists and artifacts are present, determine the laser current that caused the M8 sensor to saturate. Use the results of M8Measure.spt to determine this laser current value.
4. Temporarily reduce the laser power to below the level that saturated the M8 sensor. Order a replacement head.
