Description

Visible focus artifacts in 3 to 5 swaths at the beginning of the plot, located in the head gripper (leading edge) home corner.

Cause

Old MCE firmware, Version 1.06

Solution

Upgrade the firmware.
If no firmware upgrade is available, from the head (TH2>), change the access and value of swaths to learn (parameter number 17 of sys parm). Use the following commands:
QUANTUM>> redirect enable

TH2 > eng
*** Command Success ***
TH2 > sys parm access 17 disable
*** Command Success ***
TH2 > sys parm 17 3
*** Command Success ***
