Error

Power calibration error message appears when plotting.

Symptoms

Error message [02318] laser diode: the laser power could not be calculated during calibration appears during plotting.

Cause

The MPE firmware does not support the power monitor feature, so when the host (MPE) opens the shutter while the head is still calibrating the laser, this error results.

Solution

Enter the following commands:
>>redirect enable
TH2>eng
TH2>set sys powermonitor false
TH2>redirect disable
