Vertical pinstripe artifact on high-sensitivity integrating media

Problem

A pinstripe artifact on high-sensitivity integrating media like Kodak Thermal News, Kodak Thermal News Gold, and Fuji LH-NN plates.

Cause

Leakage light causes the pixels at the edge of the swath to be double exposed. The leakage light comes from pixels that are turned off outside the edge of the swath.

Solution

Use the SCORR table to reduce the exposure at the edge of the swath. The G_MCE_Scorr_v2.spt, which will plot a series of strips with varying SCORR table values, is available to assist you in choosing the best values for the SCORR table.
