P22 and P33 head identification

P33 heads are available in both Thermal 1.7 and Thermal 2 formats. There are three ways to determine the kind of head you have:

• Kodak Label on the head
• head part number
• MPE/MCE monitor

Note: Trendsetter® 800 MPE devices support P22 heads only (for both non-Quantum and Quantum formats). MCE/GMCE devices will accept P33 heads (for non-Quantum) and P22 heads (for Quantum).

CAUTION: A P33 Imaging head should not be installed on a Trendsetter 800 II MCE Quantum device or any Trendsetter 800 MPE device (Quantum or non-Quantum), as the write laser will not be enabled and the head will not function.
