Thermal3 Command
(requires ENG access)
lvd volts (high|low) (<offset>|all)

Variables offset Specifies the stroke correction amplifier offset from 0 to 115.

Description Verify the stroke linearity.

For the alpha LVDU and LVDL satellite boards, 116 DAC's provide the stroke correction high and low voltage for the light valve. For the beta LVDU and LVDL satellite boards, 114 DAC's provide the stroke correction high and low voltage for the light valve.

The firmware configures the stroke correction voltage based on the control mode of the light valve driver and the NVS parameter med <index> stroke. The actual stroke correction voltage is readback using sense circuitry provided by the satellite board and displayed.

Note that the beta LVDU and LVDL satellite boards do not provide all of the stroke correction amplifiers. If the stroke correction amplifier does not exist, the diagnostic will be ignored for that stroke correction amplifier. The first set of beta LVDU and LVDL satellite boards does not provide stroke correction amplifiers #0 and #1. The second set of beta LVDU and LVDL satellite boards does not provide stroke correction amplifiers #0 and #115.

This command is not supported by head controller version 2.0 or greater.
