Thermal3 Command
(requires ENG access)
plt pattern init <index> <row> <nibbles>

Variables index The copy index from 0 to 3.
row The row index from 0 to 15.
nibbles From 2 to 116 nibbles that configure the pattern data.

Description Initialize one row of the pattern data for one of the four TPG patterns that can be implemented by the user. The TPG pattern is constructed from pattern data with a maximum of 16 rows and 58 columns. Each row represents one pixel but all rows can be repeated to increase the pattern height. Each column represents eight pixels ( i.e. one byte ) but there are sufficient columns to generate all 464 pixels.

When entering nibbles, the number of nibbles must equal twice the number of columns. Each nibble will initialize four bits of the pattern data ( high bit first, low bit last ).

Typically the monitor command plt pattern config <index> <pattern> <name> <row> <repeat> <column> is used to configure the dimensions of the pattern data and then the monitor command plt pattern init <index> <row> <nibbles> is used to initialize each row of the pattern data.

This is intended as a development tool and should not be used during normal operation.

Notes Thermal 1.0 / 1.7x equivalents:
  • The monitor command plt pattern init <index> <row> <nibbles> does not have an equivalent.

Thermal 2 equivalents:
  • The monitor command plt pattern init <index> <row> <nibbles> does not have an equivalent.
